The Williams herd has entered both the East Anglian and South East Simmental Club’s herd competitions and has been fortunate to perform well in both.<\/p>\n
In the South East Club’s competition we won the best bull born before January 2012 with Williams Elliot, as well as winning the award for the best heifer born before January 2012 with Williams Wednesday Emily.<\/p>\n
As well as those two great awards we also picked up the Merian Jones award for the best youngstock and were placed second in the large herd’s section of the overall competition.<\/p>\n
And on top of that we were delighted to see Williams Draco named as the South East Simmental of the year.<\/p>\n
In the East Anglia Club competition our senior stock sire Heathbrow Tristar was named best stock bull and the herd was named champion herd in the competition.<\/p>\n
It’s always pleasing to have our stock admired by others and the success in this year’s herd competitions is a satisfying indictment of our breeding policy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
