Big team out in force at Royal Norfolk Show

We decided to bring out a big team for this year’s Royal Norfolk Show, it’s on our doorstep and we love the show so decided to support it in full force. But in doing so we had to have a lot of support and help so would really like to thank Paul Walker, Julie Rooks and Charlie Collison for all their hard work at the show.

We kicked off our winning form with Williams Crystal’s Fleur who won her yearling heifer class and then stood reserve junior champion, while her half sister, another Tiger Gallant daughter, Williams Belle’s Elsie stood third in the April-born heifer class.

Our 2008-born cow Sterling Grace’s Wilhemina, a Darsham Playboy daughter stood second in her class and then went reserve female champion and reserve breed champion. She was shown with her April-born Heathbrow Tristar heifer calf at foot.

Then in the male team, Williams Frederick, who was junior champion at Suffolk Show, won his class, while Williams Felix came third and Williams Fawkes came fourth

Then former Royal Norfolk Show champion and senior herd sire Heathbrow Tristar took a trip round the ring with many exhibitors saying it was the best he had ever looked. Tristar won his class then went male champion. On the next day of the show, Tristar took the Continental male championship and teamed up with Theberton Abagail in the interbreed to win the pairs and was jpined by Wilhemina to win the interbreed group of three.

Adding to our success, we won the group of three again with a Tiger Gallant group and Elsie took the best bred in Norfolk Simmental honours, with Fleur taking reserve.

Then the proudest moment for us was watching William do beef young handlers for the first time where he stood second and then third in the calf class under judge Boomer Birch. A huge thank you to Paul who has been teaching him and guiding him from the ringside.
