Taking his second breed championship and reserve interbreed championship on just his second outing was Heathbrow Tristar, this time at Herts County Show. He won the senior bull class and then went on to be placed male and breed champion under judge David Donnelly of the Atlow herd.
Also in the team was the homebred Williams Snow Queen who stood first in the yearling heifer class, while our cow Sterling Ritzys Vesta stood second in her class. Our junior bull Williams Barnabas, by Tristar, stood third in his class.
Herts Show was also the first ever outing with the Blue Texel show team and we were delighted with our start. Our ewe lamb Williams Ultima out of an Ivanhoe ewe stood first in her class, while a Bishops ewe that was purchased at his dispersal sale stood first in her shearling ewe class and then went on to be placed champion in the Any Other continental championship. Our ram lamb, Williams Umberto stood third.
